Australian actor, musician, and model Harry Hains, best recognized for his appearances in FX’s “American Horror Story” and Netflix’s “The OA,” died on Tuesday at Los Angeles, California, United States. His mom, actor Jane Badler, announced Friday on Instagram. He was 27.
“On Jan. 7 my lovely son died. He was 27 and had the world at his feet. However sadly he struggled with mental illness and addiction,” Badler captioned a photo gallery. “A brilliant spark shone bright too quick a time … I’ll miss you Harry, every day of my life.”
A memorial service shall be held in Hains’ honor at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Perpetually Cemetery on Sunday.
Badler, also an actor, starred as Diana in NBC’s 1980s sci-fi drama “V” and its 2009 remake. She also performed Shannon Reed in the “Mission: Impossible” TV series.
Hains was in one episode of “American Horror Story” and has also had components in TV series “Sneaky Pete” and “The OA.” He performed more outstanding roles in independent movies and starred in the 2015 drama “The Surface.”
Badler said a memorial service for Hains will take place in Los Angeles.

Harry Hains born in Melbourne, Hains had lived in London and New York, and most recently was based mostly in Los Angeles. In 2015.
He appeared in the Hotel series of Ryan Murphy’s hit anthology American Horror Story and had a role in Netflix’s supernatural drama The OA. He was also a model and performed as a musician under the name Antiboy.
Hains had beforehand spoken about being gender fluid, telling the journal Boys By Ladies: “I do know that I’m born male, however, I don’t assume I characterize what it means to be a man. I believe we should be no matter what we would like. It will get kind of complicated after we begin labeling ourselves so I attempt to avoid labels.”
In the same interview, the actor revealed he had suffered from an extreme kind of insomnia throughout his childhood.
His explanation for death has not been introduced. A memorial service shall be held in Los Angeles on 12 January.
