Daily US Times, Missouri: Police charged three family members of an 11-year-old Missouri girl, who gave birth in her suburban St. Louis home.

Documents say a 17-year-old is charged with incest, statutory rape and statutory sodomy of a child after he told investigators he did not know the girl was pregnant.

During questioning, the teen told police he had sex with the girl about 100 times but did not know she was pregnant.

A man and a woman are each accused of child endangerment, while the woman accused with an additional charge of failing to provide medical care for the birth.

The issue came out when the adult male brought an infant, who had a temperature of 90 degrees and was still attached to the umbilical cord, to a hospital for treatment on Feb. 11. Police then started an investigation.

According to the charging documents, he first ignored knowing of who gave birth, said someone left the baby on his front porch, but later said he was a relative. He also told investigators that he did not know the girl was pregnant or sexually assaulted multiple times.

Investigator then found the girl in her home.

There are no attorneys for the three yet. The teen is being held on a $25,000 bond. Bail for the man and woman was set at $10,000 each.

The Daily US Times is not identifying the family members to protect the girl’s identity.
