Car jump starter kit drivers say is ‘worth every penny’ sees huge discount

It’s began to get pretty cold in the UK with temperatures dropping to lows of -1C in some parts of the country – and if you have been hit with the dreaded car not starting in the morning, it can be super frustrating.

But there are some great car jump starters out there that can give that car a kick – and we’ve spotted a popular premium brand jump starter that you’ll want to jump on. The NOCO Boost Sport jump starter.

It’s currently £63.96 in a limited time Amazon deal. It’s quite rare to see this jump starter see a discount – and there’s only limited stock so you’ll want to be quick.

It allows you to safely jump start a dead battery in seconds with this compact, yet powerful, 500-amp lithium battery jump starter – up to 20 jump starts on a single charge – and rated for gasoline engines up to 4.0-liters. But it’s not just a car jump starter.

It works as a It’s a car jump starter, portable power bank, and LED flashlight. Recharge smartphones, tablets, and other USB devices. It’s easily rechargeable from any powered USB port in 3-hours at 2.1-amps. Plus, an integrated 100-lumen LED flashlight with seven light modes, including emergency strobe and SOS.

It’s also ultrasafe so you don’t need to worry about sparks or it destroying your car’s battery or any other parts of your vehicle. And it has received absolutely glowing reviews.

One person who called it “worth every penny” said: “It seems to be a universal rule that cars only ever break down when it is difficult to get anything done about it. I needed to use mine for a short trip on Christmas day. After clearing ice off the windows, I got in, turned the ignition and nothing but a clicking noise.

“No one was available to help, so I was unable to use the car that day. Thinking about the problem, I realised that for the past few weeks, I had been using the car for work with the lights, heaters, dashcam, satnav and radio all on, followed by 5 days of only using the car twice for 1.5-mile trips to the local shop.

“Having intended to buy one of these boosters a while back for emergencies, I ordered a NOCO Boost Sport GB20 from Amazon (the cheapest NOCO model because my car is only a 1.2 litre, so well within the specified “up to 4 litre” range.

“The product arrived promptly, but unfortunately comes with only about 1/4 charge. The manual says to fully charge before use, which I estimated at 3 hours, given the USB charger I was using. After the 3 hours were up, I clipped the leads to the battery, turned on the unit, gave it 30 seconds, crossed my fingers and then turned the ignition – it started first time. “

Some people did have some complaints though. Some complained how short the cables were. One reviewer said: The cables are ridiculously short, a lot of modern cars don’t give you full access to vehicle battery. The charge points on my sons car were too far apart to attach the Positive & Negative at the same time. I had attach jump leads to the points and then the supplied cables to them.

“I have since found out that you can purchase longer leads, but that is £23 on top. If the supplied cables were longer then this would have 5 stars.”

If you’re looking for alternative options, consider the Noco jump starter from Halfords for £115.95, a well-known brand. Alternatively, if you need a compact trickle charger to keep your car battery topped up, Halfords offers one for £33.99.
