Emmerdale spoilers for next week ‘seal double exit and tragic death’ in ‘tense’ twist

There could be a major fallout to next week’s Emmerdale scenes, as new spoilers for the week ahead have teased deadly twists.

Two characters could face death in horrifying scenes, while another village resident is teased to exit the ITV soap. There’s some key storylines next week in the Dales, and a shock death has been teased while fans are hoping it won’t be the case.

But it could be the end of one troubled character’s time in the village and regardless of if this happens, and if someone faces death, there could be “catastrophic” scenes in the aftermath. There has to be something changing for once family too, as a horror collapse leaves a teenager in serious danger and a family in turmoil.

Our soap source teased of the big episodes on the way next week: “There’s some real horror and heartache on the way. In one storyline band you’ve got tension and worrying scenes, which lead to potential tragedy,

“In another key plot, one family reaches breaking point with sad consequences. It’s certainly a worrying and emotional time for more than one character next week, and depending what way things go there could be catastrophic consequences.”

The major plot of the week is Ella Forster’s comeback and her revenge. She’s back to trying to convince Liam Cavanagh that his new lover Chas Dingle is addicted to painkillers, and that this was what led to her overdose.

With Ella accused by everyone, she’s still claiming she is innocent and being framed. Ella begins persistently messaging and calling the pair leaving them very worried, and things worsen when Belle Dingle receives a call cancelling the upcoming wedding.

They believe Ella’s harassment is increasing, and end up calling the police out of desperation as they don’t know what she’s planning next. Soon enough there’s horrifying twists and turns and one character is in grave danger – but are there multiple exits on the way?

Our soap source revealed: “Ella shows up determined to have her say with Liam, but when Mandy Dingle refuses to let her she threatens her with a knife. Things only escalate when Liam shows up, leading to a chase in the woods.

“It gets pretty scary for one moment when Ella acts out, and Liam’s left injured. She fears she’s killed him and it’s clear there’s no coming back from this.” Whether Liam survives and Ella exits remains to be seen.

Another key storyline sees April Windsor seemingly overdose on ketamine as she’s found unconscious by her father Marlon Dingle. Marlon cradles lifeless April in his arms, but will she be okay?

The pair fell out recently as Marlon struggled to support the teenager when she returned to the village after running away while pregnant. Sadly she suffered a stillbirth and since then she’s been in a bad way, not able to adjust to life back home.

But some confessions next week only strain their relationship further. Our soap source revealed: “Marlon’s unthinkable actions with her friend Dylan finally come to light next week, and it doesn’t end well.

“April finds out about the ketamine set-up and the fact Dylan has actually tried to make contact. Her dad’s lied to her again, and she’s had enough. She’s soon feeling alone, and she takes drastic action – and there’s every chance that this time she may go too far. The father and daughter have a lot to work on, and they might not come back from this.”

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .
