Emmerdale ‘triple death’ as two characters killed off and another demise ‘sealed’

There was death and horror on Emmerdale on Monday night, as a character was killed off and another two appeared to meet a grim demise.

Two characters faced a deadly exit, with a body also found, but they were not alone as multiple characters were left in serious peril. The limo they were travelling in crashed onto an icy lake, with Charity Dingle, Amy Wyatt, Kerry Wyatt, Suzy Merton, Leyla Harding, Vanessa Woodfield, Tracy Robinson, Chas Dingle and Liam Cavanagh all left in danger.

Driver Charity had been forced to swerve when her son Noah Dingle wandered into the road, sending the limo crashing onto the lake. One by one the characters slowly got out and tried to get to safety, but not before poor Suzy was confirmed dead.

Just minutes into the episode, the residents trapped in the limo realised Suzy had been killed instantly from the crash. As her partner Vanessa sobbed, the group realised the car was at risk of plunging into the icy waters below if they did not escape.

Not only that but more than one character looked to be in a bad way, sparking further death fears. Charity was first to flee, as Vanessa cradled her deceased partner, refusing to leave her.

Charity vowed to get help while also managing to track down her son Noah, who was unconscious in the woods. Back at the crash site, Liam was next to flee and he was followed by partner Chas, both of which almost fell through the ice.

Liam had a head injury and soon he collapsed, with it clear he was in a bad way. Following Chas was Vanessa and her sister Tracy, with Vanessa tasked with trying to help a badly injured Liam.

But tragedy struck once more moments later as Amy took her turn to flee, only for the ice to give way. As she plummeted below into the water no one could help her, and soon a twist aired that confirmed another death had occurred.

As Amy battled the water to try and get out of the ice, she found a corpse floating underneath. She screamed before trying to get out, but the ice had sealed where she had fallen through, meaning she could not get above the water.

She began to lose consciousness as the episode ended, with it not clear if she would survive. As for the body she spotted in horrifying scenes, the only thing visible was the arm with it not known who it was and when or how they died.

The only clue was a bracelet, like the ones made and given out by Tracy’s young daughter Frankie, shown on the arm of the body. So is this where murdered Anthony Fox’s body was hidden, or could another character have secretly been killed off?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.* Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .
