There was a dark twist on Emmerdale on Monday night amid the devastating crash that killed one character and left others in serious peril.
One character not in the crash but somewhat involved was also left fighting for their life after an incident. Noah Dingle was shown staggering around in a daze, before walking into the path of one of the limos.
It was being driven by his mother Charity Dingle who was forced to swerve, causing the car to crash onto an icy lake. Killed instantly was Suzy Merton, leaving her girlfriend Vanessa Woodfield hysterical.
As the remaining passengers tried to get off the lake, the episode ended with two character still inside and more than one character facing death. Liam Cavanagh was seriously injured and in need of assistance, while Amy Wyatt plunged through the ice with her now feared dead.
A mystery corpse was also shown, found by Amy in the depths of the lake, while it’s not clear who this is just yet. But away from the lake, Noah was shown in a bad way as Charity found him unconscious in the woods.
As she tried to wake him, she was unable to and tried to call for her help but there was no signal on her phone. Amid speculation about what was wrong with Noah, fans shared an interesting theory.
After it appeared he drank a drink possibly spiked by one of Jacob Gallagher’s pals, fans were confused over how he ended up in the woods. They were also speculating his brother Joe Tate was linked to Noah’s health taking a turn.
Joe clashed with Noah recently after Noah turned down his offer of a job in Dubai. Joe was seen keen to get Noah to move away with him before taking action when his brother declined.
So now fans think Joe has done something to his sibling, with one theory reading online: “I don’t know how or why but I’m convinced Joe has something to do with it. I know he was spiked by Jacob’s friend but… Joe is involved somewhere after that. He needs Noah for some reason to solve his medical problem.”
Another fan agreed: “I think something happened to Noah as he didn’t come home – maybe something bad involving Joe.” Meanwhile another theory claimed Noah was unconscious after being hit by the limo while he didn’t actually appear to be struck. The theory said: “Noah unconscious after the limo hit him.”
