While actor Tom Holland might be able to play it cool in the company of Hollywood’s elite, the same certainly can’t be said for his dad, judging by his reaction in a resurfaced photograph.

Spiderman star Tom and his father, Dominic, were snapped in the company of Harry Potter star Emma Watson – an occasion which clearly delighted Mr Holland senior. The trio attended a tennis match at Wimbledon in 2018.

Emma, best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series, sat a row beneath the Hollands at the All England Club, and was seen smiling as she strolled past them. And while Tom appeared to more interested in Centre Court below, Dominic gazed directly at Emma, beaming from ear to ear.

The seven-year-old snap was shared by Non Aesthetic Things to X on Monday (February 24), where it quickly went viral, attracting more than six million views in just 12 hours. “Tom Holland’s dad acting normal in front of Emma Watson,” quipped the X user in a caption.

A second photo, meanwhile, showed Emma and actor Luke Evans sat directly in front of father and son. Dominic is famous in his own right, however, having had a career as an actor, broadcaster, author and comedian.

One X user joked in response: “Man’s fighting for his life trying not to quote Harry Potter.” A second quipped: “Tom Holland looks like he is staring off in the other direction like he is trying not to notice.”

A third penned: “He’s laughing like he don’t realise the Internet is about to analyse every frame.” Whilst a fourth person admitted: “Honestly this is how probably 90% of the planet would react and the other 10 are people that don’t know who she is, doesn’t care about movies or is another celebrity so I don’t blame him at all.”

And a fifth shared: “Looks like he held it together better than most of us would. Probably rehearsed that moment in the mirror 100 times. Elsewhere another X user shared a similar tale of their own experience with 34-year old Emma: “She was sitting next to me in a café a couple of months ago for hours. I didn’t notice that until my friend joined me and started screaming, OMG, Emma Watson!”
