Hulk Hogan’s former wife emotionally broke down as she accused the WWE star of being a “sex addict”. Linda Claridge, 65, was married to Hulk, 71, for 26 years before they split in 2009.

They welcomed two children together – Brooke, 36, and Nick, 34 – and Hulk, real name Terry Gene Bollea, has moved on to his second marriage since splitting with Linda. He tied the knot with Sky Daily last year after the breakdown of his marriage to Jennifer McDaniel in 2021.

Linda has now hit out at the wrestling star over the collapse of their family life. She claims they once had a tight family unit but they have now been left in the “worst mess” and has put of off marriage again.

In a candid video that saw Linda break down in tears she said: “I have to be honest about what I went through in my marriage. And what it entailed and what it caused over the years.

“He’s a complete liar. He’s a sex addict. Yet he marches on like, ‘Oh I’m promoting my own beer, look at me’. I’ve given him opportunities to come back and make up the family. It’s been 20 years and I’m still this sad, somebody please explain that.”

Linda added: “I do love living alone. I don’t ever want to be married again after him, trust me.” Her heartbreak continued as she revealed she is not on speaking terms with their daughter Brooke.

She continued: “I’m okay with most things but today, something hit. It’s been 15 – or longer – years since I left Hulk Hogan and my family is in the worst mess.

“Brooke doesn’t talk to us. She’s had twins. She got married, she didn’t tell us… She had a huge fight with Terry. I don’t know how that reflected onto me but she cut me out too.

“I haven’t talked to her for seven years, almost eight years now. God bless Nick, he is still such a good boy. As we all experience this with our own families, the dynamics of a family unit continuously change over the years.

“For my own journey to healing and happiness, I have chosen to create some distance between myself and my family, and focusing on people and things that heal my heart and align with my own personal beliefs, goals and values.”

Brooke has kept her distance from her famous father as well, as she didn’t attend his wedding to Sky. Hulk is said to have popped the question inside a Tampa restaurant with a six carat diamond engagement ring worth $100,000. They announced their engagement during a speech at actor Corin Nemec and his wife Sabrina Nova’s wedding.

Linda and Hulk as well as their kids became household names thanks to their reality show Hogan Knows Best. Their marriage was said to have broken down after Hulk allegedly cheated on Linda with daughter Brooke’s best friend Christiane Plante, according to Linda’s publicist.

He told E! News at the time: “When Linda discovered Hulk had [an affair] with Brooke’s best friend, Christiane Plante, she made the decision to call it quits on the marriage.

“Almost every statement that comes out of Hulk’s mouth is a diversionary tactic to deflect attention away from the real reason Linda filed for divorce, two words: HULK’S CHEATING!”

In a war of words, Hulk’s lawyer David Houston replied to the statement saying: “It is unfortunate Linda Hogan will do virtually anything to keep herself in the public spotlight. We are not going to demean this process nor the family any longer by responding to what amounts to pathetic pleas for attention.”

After their explosive split, Hulk went as far as telling Rolling Stone that the whole thing made him sympathise with OJ Simpson, who was infamously accused of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, something he still denies to this day.
