Excited Love Island fans are gearing up for the big All Stars final and this year’s last-standing love birds are a mixture of ages.
There are just five couples left, including Grace Jackson and Luca Bish, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard, Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman, Catherine Agbaje and Omar Nyame and Elma Pazar and Sammy Root.
Sammy is the youngest, aged 23, with two 32-year-olds competing for the prize Elma and Gabby. Last night, the former Islanders returned to issue their verdict and Ronnie Vint and Harriett Blackmore were sent packing from the villa – just hours before the final.
The announcement that season 3 favourite Marcel Somerville was coming back to the villa caused a big stir this series, with many baffled over his age – and marriage status. He is the oldest ever Love Islander at 39, the Blazin’ Squad star is also still legally married to wife Rebecca Vieira, who he shares son Roman, 4, with however it’s thought the pair are in the process of divorcing.
But who will go on to win? Well, we’re about to find out as the finale looms. Odds have been revealed ahead of the final, with Grace and Luca the favourite to win at 4/6 and Ekin-Su and Curtis and Gabby and Casey following with odds of 2/1 and 3/1 respectively. Catherine and Omar follow far behind on 16/1 whilst Elma and Sammy follow further behind that with 25/1 and thus are the least likely to win.
Harriett said of the exit: “The easiest thing to say is that we did it [had a relationship] before. I was just a bit hurt because my friends were sat there and the people who helped me through my journey and tried to make me trust Ronnie again, threw it back in my face and said it wasn’t going to work.”
Ronnie then added: “The fake comments are crazy – did you see how much I was grafting? It’s mad. Even until last week I was still doing it, every day. We fully split up. Everyone’s going to have an opinion but the real opinion is me and H. That’s all I care about.”
Will Grace and Luca go on to seal the crown? Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s been non-stop drama in the villa this series, and with three couples well in with a chance of going all the way tonight, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a few more twists and turns before close of play.”
