Celebrity chef Jameson Stocks has claimed he was dumped by Kerry Katona on the day of pal The Vivienne’s funeral.
The former Atomic Kitten star appeared to have moved on from her fiancé, Ryan Mahoney earlier this year. She was spotted with Jameson last month when they appeared to have taken a weekend trip away together. Jameson, who previously dated model Jo Wood, has claimed they secretly dated for two months before their sudden split.
Kerry reportedly confessed her love to the dad-of-two and could see a future with him. However, Jameson has revealed his shock at being dumped on the day of his close friend’s funeral. The Ru Paul Drag race star, whose real name was James Lee Williams, tragically died last month with the funeral taking place three weeks later.
Jameson attended the service on January 27 and has claimed Kerry refused to go with him to avoid being photographed. He has sensationally claimed Kerry wanted to keep their romance under wraps so she could secure a spot on E4’s Celebs Go Dating. The chef says he doesn’t want to be seen as a “fool”.
“One day she told me she loves me and wants to marry me and she’s telling my children she loves them,” he told the Daily Mail. Kerry is said to have attended Jameson’s son’s birthday party on January 25. He said: “The thing that upsets me the most is that I wear my heart on my sleeve a little bit like Kerry and the day of James’s funeral I went to the Jellycat store to get her daughter some Jellycats because she loves them. I didn’t say to Kerry what I was doing.
“Within minutes of me coming home a story broke about our romance and Kerry said she could no longer go to James’s funeral because there would be paps. She ended up going back home and she was crying… And that was the last time I saw her and that was that. She messaged me and then blocked me, messaged me then blocked me.”
Jameson, who lived on the street as a teen before getting a job at a Marco Pierre White restaurant when he was just 15, claimed he started dating Kerry after her split from Ryan in November. They are said to have connected on Instagram and their romance rapidly progressed.
The chef posted a photo of Kerry to his social media last month as they sat on a train. Kerry glanced out of the window, glowing while makeup-free and her hair tied back in a messy ponytail. Jameson captioned the post: “Heading back up north.” Earlier that month, Kerry shared she was in a much better place after struggling with her breakup with Ryan.
In her weekly OK! Column, she wrote: “I’m feeling really good going into 2025 – it’s going to be a great year. I’m not heartbroken any more and feel like I know that Ryan wasn’t the one for me.” On Valentine’s Day, Kerry gave an update on her love life as she headed to Thailand with daughter Heidi.
She told OK! Magazine: “It’s Valentine’s day on Friday and I’m quite glad I’ll be away on holiday for it since it’s my first one single in a long time. It will be a bit strange without Ryan, but he was never great at Valentine’s gifts anyway. I’ve never been really into Valentine’s day so I’m feeling okay, I think it’s a bit gimmicky, although I did get married once on 14 February!”
Kerry also shared a video on the day of love as she said the purpose was to “let you all know that yes I am in a relationship”. The mum-of-five continued: “It is extremely serious… how do I say this? It’s with myself. And I plan on staying single for a very, very, very, very, very, very long time.”
