Love Is Blind contestant left ‘crying for an hour’ over huge U-turn decision

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Love Is Blind season 8

One of the contestants on Love Is Blind has confessed how they spent an hour crying as they were trying to make a life-changing decision.

Medical Devices Sales rep Dave, 33, admitted he was in tears trying to decide whether to pick Executive Assistant Molly, 30, or Educational Sales rep Lauren, 31, after he realised he felt deeply for both of them.

In scenes from the latest episodes, which dropped on Netflix today (February 14), Dave had an intense chat with Molly.

He told her: “It’s been a weird day. Honestly, I’ve been crying for the last hour.”

Dave explained to Molly: “I’m just like freaked out because I know our conversation earlier and I’m freaked out by myself. How can I be such a different person from like hours ago? I don’t know what I’m doing anymore.”

He went on to suggest he was previously “cool” about ending things with Lauren in favour or Molly, but now he’d done a 180 in his decision-making.

Dave then got emotional and told her how he’d been so sure of himself until his date with Lauren and now his “head was spinning”.

“I want to be the best version of myself through it and it’s just gotten harder,” he said and added he tried in his life not to make “emotional decisions”.

Molly was left upset as she told him: “’I know what I want but I’m not here to force anything.”

But her words failed to reassure Dave as he confessed he was “really struggling” over who to pick and told her: “I literally never cry.”

Eventually, he ended things with Molly after previously seeming so sure about her and repeatedly saying she was “fun” with the pair having so many common traits.

It was then Molly’s turn to be heartbroken after she left the pod and spoke to Lauren.

The two women had a heart-to-heart with each wishing the other the best.

Ever the pragmatist, Molly reiterated she wanted someone who would “choose her” and didn’t want to “force” anything.

Finally, Lauren and Dave met again in the pods as he told her how she’d made him happier in a 10-day span than he’d “ever been”.

“I will literally spend the rest of my life trying to make you as happy as I’ve been. If I could I dream up the perfect woman, she wouldn’t even come close to you,” he said.

He got down on one knee and popped the question to Lauren with her accepting.
