The remaining All Stars have been treated to a surprise DJ set at a pool party in the Love Island villa ahead of the final.
The second series of the ITV2 show will end on Monday night after having launched five weeks ago. Five couples remain in the villa in South Africa, with host Maya Jama set to name one of them as the latest winners in the final.
Casey O’Gorman, Gabby Allen, Catherine Agbaje, Omar Nyame, Curtis Pritchard, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Elma Pazar, Sammy Root, Grace Jackson and Luca Bish are this year’s finalists. Harriett Blackmore and Ronnie Vint missed out on a spot in the final after being dumped on Sunday’s episode.
Ahead of the winners being crowned, the finalists have already celebrated reaching the end of the series with a pool party that featured a “special performance” by Nathan Dawe. The DJ is known for having released singles include Lighter, which featured KSI.
ITV has teased ahead of Monday’s episode that the final five couples hear about the party when Sammy receives a text. It reads: “Finalists, get ready to dive into a good time, as you’re invited to a VIP All Stars pool party! #MakingWaves #FinalFiveOnly.”
The islanders are then treated to the “surprise performance” by Nathan. He’s said to play “some of his top hits” and also gives the finalists and “exclusive listen” to his new track Here in Your Arms, which is a collaboration between him and Abi Flynn.
Following the pool party, the couples reflect on their time in the villa on All Stars, which returned for its second series last month. Viewers have seen recouplings, drama and shock dumpings over the five weeks since it launched.
Sunday night’s episode saw Harriett and Ronnie voted out of the villa just before the final, following the return of previous All Stars islanders. They had been among the bottom three couples following a public vote for viewers’ favourites to win. The returning dumped islanders were given the power to choose who would be leaving out of the bottom three.
Harriett and Ronnie were in the bottom three alongside Catherine and Omar, as well as Elma and Sammy. Prior to the final vote, the returned islanders were divided over Harriett and Ronnie, and Elma and Sammy, as both couples received five votes. Tina Stinnes was given the deciding vote on which of them would be dumped and she tearfully announced that she had voted to dump Harriett and Ronnie from the All Stars villa.
The final of Love Island: All Stars airs on Monday night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
