Instead of enjoying TV in his downtime, millionaire Luke Littler would rather watch videos of himself – but not playing darts.
Darts sensation Littler, who became world champion in January aged just 17, has revealed that he’s more of a ‘YouTube or a TikTok guy’, rarely switching on the TV. ‘The Nuke’ enjoys watching back videos of himself and pal ‘AngryGinge’ playing video game EA Sports FC – formerly known as FIFA – when he’s at home or travelling around the world showcasing his talents.
“I don’t watch the telly – I’m just a YouTube or a TikTok guy,” Littler told the Daily Star when promoting Specsavers Best Worst Team campaign. “I usually watch the Sidemen. Sometimes, I watch us back on Pro Clubs, me and AngryGinge!”
Pro Clubs is a game mode on EA Sports FC25 that allows users to create a virtual footballer and play with their friends against other teams online. Littler is part of ‘Girth N Turf’, an online team which has also seen Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney and British rapper Aitch take part in matches and live streams.
The 18-year-old doesn’t even cringe at his own voice, as many of us would. “Not really,” he said. “Because it is very funny!”
Littler and AngryGinge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, have formed a close friendship since becoming the face of darts. The Warrington wonderkid has enjoyed a meteoric rise which culminated in triumphing over darts icon Michael van Gerwen in the PDC World Championship last month.
Despite being able to live a millionaire lifestyle, Littler still enjoys his downtime like any average teenager, recently celebrating his 18th birthday by going bowling with his mates. When he wants to unwind, you’ll find Littler on his Xbox. “It’s just a case of being at home. The Xbox, it’s always going to be there,” he explained.

“So there’s always time to chill out and to come home and see my friends… FIFA is my favourite game because I’m live-streaming now. So people can watch it!”
When on tour, Littler doesn’t have much time to properly settle. “Usually it’s hotel, food, and then you’re off to the venue to play darts. The schedule is tight! So I just want to be in bed all day, but when we go out, we go and have a look around!”
Would he change his lifestyle, though? No is his answer, having loved the last 12 months. “I enjoyed it all!
“It was a new experience for me! So this year, I know what’s coming, but I always say the best place is Berlin for the Premier League of Darts. And visiting New York!”
