Man claims he murdered his dad ‘because aliens told him to’ in chilling confession

A 35-year-old man from Las Vegas has been accused of murdering his father, and boldly claims that aliens commanded him to commit the act, according to investigators. Timothy Sahrang La was arrested by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on Feb 5 at about 6.18 pm following a distress call from a “hysterical” woman – later identified as La’s mother – who reported her husband was unresponsive and not breathing in their residence, 8 News Now disclosed.

Upon arrival at the Caprock Canyon Avenue home, paramedics found 73-year-old Eun Jin La lifeless in the master bedroom. Initially the his passing was deemed a natural death, but police officers’ suspicions prompted further investigation, leading to the involvement of the homicide unit, True Crime News. reported.

According to police records, La’s mother mentioned her son resided with them but hadn’t been seen since leaving for work that morning. She noted he had a medical condition, though details were not provided.

Detectives contend that Timothy shot his father within the home before escaping. In conversation with authorities, La claimed he took a stroll in the area post-shooting, asserting he “was saving someone,” specifically a “worker,” from “being tortured.”

La informed investigators that the “worker” was “wearing the skin of his father’s face” and claimed aliens “had told him to kill his father”, adding that he felt like “he was on a different planet,” reports the Mirror US.

Upon searching the property, police discovered a 9mm gun and a 9mm casing. La was charged with open murder using a deadly weapon and was subsequently denied bail.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department revealed in a press release: “Detectives were able to determine the victim had suffered from a gunshot wound. They learned the victim had been home alone with his 35-year-old son, later identified as Timothy La.

“Detectives determined that at some point, La had shot his father and left the home. La later returned to the residence and was taken into custody by patrol officers,” they then finally added, “La was arrested for Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon and was booked into the Clark County Detention Center.”

This news follows last month’s incident where a man in Las Vegas shot his ex-wife and murdered her new lover. Adrian Rodriguez-Guillen, 41, faced multiple charges in court, including murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, and burglary, following the death of Adriana Herrera, 40, on January 3.

Authorities were alerted to the scene just before 5 pm after Rodriguez-Guillen reportedly fired at two women near Blanton and Sacks Drive, Las Vegas. The accused’s ex-wife, who has not been named, was injured when a bullet apparently passed through Ms. Herrera and hit her.
