Daily US Times, Washington: Michelle Obama, the former first lady, cited Trump impeachment proceedings as “surreal”. She was in an interview with Jenna Bush, former fist daughter on NBC television’s ‘Today Show’. But Michelle Obama stated that she has hope the country ‘would come back from it’.
Her comment on the show was. “It’s surreal, I think because the last impeachment hearing — a lot of young people weren’t around for that, so this is all new. I don’t think people know what to make of it. But do I think we can come back from it? Oh yeah.”
Obama stated the nation had survived more destabilizing occasions than President Donald Trump’s impeachment.
She mentioned the incidents like terrorist attacks, depressions and wars and the Americans overcome these and survived.
Michelle doesn’t want to look this as only Democratic or Republican issue; rather, it is for everyone in the country. She compares the situation with sometimes that gets lost in the noise.
