Sweet teacher applauded for clapping back at vile troll who accused her of being ‘fake’

People have applauded a teacher for clapping back at a vile troll online who dubbed her “fake”.

Being a teacher can be one of the most rewarding jobs – being able to witness pupils grow and achieve their potential and know that you helped their personal and academic development. But, it comes with a lot of challenges too from managing student behaviour to navigating parents and maintaining a work-life balance.

One US educator who is so passionate about her job in and outside of working hours, has become a viral sensation. Miss Jenny often shares snaps of herself on the way to work, or in the classroom with positive messages or great ideas to aid children’s learning on X.

Parents cannot get enough of the mum and primary school teacher and she is often inundates with words of encouragement and thank you notes online. However, she can sometimes be subjected to rude comments too. Recently, Jenny clapped back at a rude individual who called her “the fakest teacher I’ve seen on here [X]”.

It comes after Jenny shared a post on X last April, introducing herself. Jenny said: “I’m a 3rd grade teacher in Idaho! I love math and being with children. Teaching is the hardest, yet most rewarding job ever!” She also thanked those who had helped her with her Amazon wish list of things she needs for her classroom, as well as gift cards for herself.

While most people showed support for Jenny, one vile troll said: “You are the fakest teacher I’ve seen on here. Fake hair, fake eyelashes, lip filler. You probably go and f*** your dad every night because he is the only one that would love someone as fake as you. Are you really a teacher? Or is that just a line to get people to buy stuff off Amazon.”

Jenny quickly shut the nasty individual down with a clapback. She said: “Well ‘Greg’, no fake eyelashes, lip filler, or hair. I’m an actual teacher and can’t afford that stuff. My dad passed away five years ago, so there’s that.”

She added: “Thanks for reminding me how words play an important part in this life. I’ll remember to be kind. I hope you find a smile today somewhere.”

People rushed to comment, and one said: “Class act. We need more teachers like you.” One other said: “Thank you Jenny. You’re clearly an incredible person and dedicated in service to others. Your father is so proud! The way you handled “miserable” Greg was astounding. Pure class(pun intended).”

Another, supporting Jenny commented: “So sorry this happened to you, Jenny. That’s completely unacceptable and no one deserves to be treated that way. Please keep in mind that those words do not define your worth. You are strong, loved and deserving of kindness. Sending you lots of love, support and positive vibes.”

A teacher wrote: “From one teacher to another. Teachers are superstars in general going above and beyond for their students.”
