Teen accused of sex act with rocking horse and tree branch banned from playgrounds until trial

A teenager accused of performing a sex act with a rocking horse, as well as a tree branch, has been banned from playgrounds ahead of his trial.

Callum Green, 18, appeared before Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Monday afternoon where he pleaded not guilty to outraging public decency in a Hartlepool play area. Green, of Alston Street. He was alleged to have carried out the act in Burn Valley Gardens on the morning of October 19.

Joanne Hesse, prosecuting, told the court that Green has no previous convictions. Defending, Georgia Wilkinson, said she would not be giving any representation at this stage. TeessideLive reported.

The charge reads: “You, in a public place committed an act outraging public decency by behaving in an indecent manner, namely inserting parts of a ‘rocking horse’ inside yourself whilst masturbating, then pulled a branch off a tree and penetrated yourself.”

The case was adjourned until June 6 at Teesside Magistrates’ Court for trial. Green was granted conditional bail, which included not to enter Burn Valley Gardens or any recreational play park in the Cleveland area.
