Daily US Times: President Donald Trump lashed out at FBI Director Christopher Wray after he agreed with the Justice Department report which said the FBI’s Russia probe was not political bias against Trump. The President picked MR Wray after firing James Comey.
FBI director Wary made his comment about the DoJ report during his interview with ABC News when he was asked if he saw any evidence of FBI’s Russia probe is a propaganda against Trump campaign. Wary replied, ‘I do not’.
This made the President furious. He tweets ‘I don’t know what report current Director of the FBI Christopher Wray was reading, but it sure wasn’t the one given to me. With that kind of attitude, he will never be able to fix the FBI, which is badly broken despite having some of the greatest men & women working there!’.
President Trump always chants FBI’s Russia probe as ‘Witch Hunt’ and politically motivated. FBI launched an investigation to find out whether Trump’s 2016 election campaign has any ties with Russia. As Trump repeatedly calls it as a propaganda against it, the DoJ launched another investigation into FBI’s investigation motives.
The long awaited 434-page report smashed Trump long term claim. The report cleared that the FBI was not political bias when investigating Russia probe, though Justice Department inspector general report said, the organization shows ‘serious performance failure and ommissions’.
Trump called the report ‘far worse than I would have ever thought possible’ shortly after it was released on Tuesday. He said ‘This was an attempted overthrow, and a lot of people were in on it and they got caught, they got caught red-handed’.
The same day House Democrats announced article of impeachment against him.
