TV star Vicky Pattison has revealed she will no longer be working for Heart Radio after deciding to quit her show.

The former Geordie Shore star, 37, has been working for Heart North East radio since 2022, but the reality TV star has now waved goodbye to slot, with model and TV star Kelly Brook taking her place.

Announcing the news on Thursday morning, Vicky shared a number of photo highlights from her time on the show. Alongside a photo with her co-host Adam Lawrance, Vicky wrote: “Vicky shared an little goodbye from us. It is with a heavy heart I say that after almost two years getting you guys home from work, back from school, heading out with the gals and everything in-between our little radio show has come to an end.

“As a proud Geordie I have absolutely loved presenting This Is Heart in the North East – it has honestly been a dream come true – the most incredible adventure. From having it on my vision board to actually hosting the Great North Run, to skating with Disney On Ice gang at Arena Newcastle and the endless laughs we’ve had along the way. I will miss the time spent up here, the extra time it allowed me to spend with my family and friends in the north and mostly I will miss my amazing team. And honestly, I can’t wait to see what everyone achieves next.”

Vicky then shared the news that Kelly Brook, 45, would be taking over from her. “I wanted to thank every single one of our listeners… we love you!!! You’re the best and I’m so grateful for all your texts, calls and messages! We smashed records with our ratings- time after time and that is because of you guys. So thank you!!! You’re amazing. We are leaving you in the super capable hands of the gorgeous Kelly Brook and Jason King who are AMAZING!!!”

It comes almost 14 years after the star rose to fame, beginning her career in the Geordie Shore house in 2011. She was an original member of the hit MTV series, before leaving in 2014. Since then, the star went on to have a huge career in TV, catapulted by her win on I’m A Celebrity in 2015. This led to many more TV appearances, including six months on the panel of Loose Women.

Fans had seen the star go through many ups and downs in her love life before tying the knot with Ercan Ramadan last year in a lavish wedding. Most famously, her engagement to fellow Geordie Shore star Ricci Guarnaccio. The couple got together in 2012, during series 2 of the hit show, and it wasn’t long before he popped the question during a vacation to Mexico. However, things came crashing down a year later with Ricci asking for his engagement ring back and leaving the show.

It was six years later until Vicky met the love of her life, and now husband, Ercan Ramadan. The pair began dating in 2019 and three years later, Vicky revealed Ercan had popped the question whilst on holiday to Dubai. “I choose you and I’ll choose you over and over without pause, without a doubt, in a heartbeat… It’ll always be you. To our forever @ercan_ram,” she penned on Instagram.

Last August, the couple tied the knot in their first ceremony in London’s iconic Marylebone Town Hall ahead of their epic Italy wedding extravaganza. During the legal ceremony, the pair were surrounded by 150 of their loved ones before celebrating again a month later in Italy.
