Virginia Giuffre: Everything we know after Prince Andrew sex abuse accuser ‘given four days to live’

Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre claimed she has been given “four days to live” after being hit by a school bus.

Ms Giuffre, 41, announced in a social media post that she has “gone into kidney renal failure” and that she has been given just four days to live. In the Instagram post, Ms Giuffre said she was hit by a bus that was driving at 110km (68.3 miles).

A photo uploaded in the same post appeared to show Ms Giuffre had suffered extensive bruising across her face with her laying down on her side in a hospital bed. Ms Giuffre, who now lives in Perth, Australia, said she was “begging” to see her three children “one last time.”

The Western Australia Police Force (WAPF) told the Mirror it had received reports of a “minor crash” and that there were “no reported injuries” following the March 24 crash. The Mirror has contacted the East Metropolitan Health Service and her representative Dini von Mueffling for comment via email.

Here is everything we know about Ms Giuffre after she claimed to have been given just “four days to live”.

In a statement shared on her Instagram page on Monday, Ms Giuffre said: “This year has been the worst start to a new year, but I won’t bore anyone with the details but I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can.

“I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology. I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes.

“S*** in one hand and wish in the other & I guarantee it’s still going to be s**** at the end of the day. Thank you all for being the wonderful people of the world and for being a great part of my life. Godbless you all xx Virginia.”

Western Australia police said the crash between a bus and a car happened in Neergabby, a farming area about 12 miles north of Perth. It is a farming area in the countryside that had few major settlements.

Ms Giuffre’s last known property was a £1million beachfront property in Ocean Reef, North Perth, where she lived with her husband Robert and their three teenage children. The couple, who had been married for 22 years, are now reportedly estranged.

The WAPF confirmed a crash had occurred in a few miles north of the city of Perth on March 24 and added the incident had been reported to police by the bus driver.

“The Western Australia Police Force received a report of a minor crash which occurred between a bus and a car in Neergabby on March 24 just after 3pm,” a WAPF spokesperson told the Mirror. “The collision was reported by the bus driver the following day. The car sustained approximately $2000 AUD (£967) worth of damage. There were no reported injuries as a result of the crash.”

At this stage it is unknown where Ms Giuffre is being treated following the crash. A spokesperson for the East Metropolitan Health Service, which runs Royal Perth Hospital, told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation that Ms Giuffre was not at any of their facilities.

Brad Edwards, who previously represented Ms Giuffre in her legal cases, said it was a “very bad situation.” He added both he and Ms Giuffre were “hoping for better news in the coming days” before adding he wanted her to pull through with good medical care.

Mr Edwards represented Ms Giuffre after she alleged to have been trafficked by British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell and was forced to have sex with billionaire paedophile Epstein. The notorious abuser was found dead in a New York City jail cell in August, 2019.

Sky Roberts, Ms Giuffre’s dad, replied to her Instagram post where he offered his support to her. He said: “Virginia, my daughter, I love you and praying you get the correct treatment to live a long and healthy life.

“If there’s anything in the world I can do to help you, please let me know. My spirit is with you now and holding your hand.”

In a statement shared with the BBC, Ms Giuffre’s spokesperson Dini von Mueffling said: “Virginia has been in a serious accident and is receiving medical care in the hospital. She greatly appreciates the support and well wishes people are sending.”
