A woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash late Monday night in London’s northeast.  

Police were called to the area of Huron and Adelaide streets shortly after 8 p.m. after reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was taken to hospital by paramedics where she remains, police said. 

The involved driver remained on the scene, and the road was closed for a period of time.

Investigators are asking any member of the public who may have been in the area of Huron and Highbury streets between 8 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., who may have dash-cam, residential or business video surveillance that could assist with the investigation, to contact the London Police Service.
